SAMUEL C. HAMILTON DIGITAL LIBRARY PROJECT

Nearly all Presidents of the United States have a personal library that is built for them after they leave office. The presidential libraries store records and historical materials of the Presidents—from memos transmitted inside the White House, to letters that Presidents wrote to citizens, to records of the policy decisions that changed the way the government operates, to ceremonial and personal artifacts of the President’s administration, political and personal life. Newer Libraries now preserve and make available electronic records, including email and digital images.

The 30th Grand Polemarch Samuel C. Hamilton was the first Grand Polemarch to elevate from the Hartford Alumni Chapter. As a result, the Hartford Alumni Chapter has launched a project to store papers, video, and audio of the Grand Polemarch Hamilton.

After a sufficient amount of material have been reviewed, authenticated, and properly cataloged, the Hartford Alumni Chapter will produce a library with those submissions available in audio, video, and text form.

If you have materials that you believe should be included in the Grand Polemarch Samuel C. Hamilton Digital Library, please forward those materials to digital.hartfordalumni@gmail.com or mail the materials to Grand Polemarch Samuel C. Hamilton Digital Library c/o Hartford Alumni Chapter, P.O. Box 2181, Hartford, CT 06145.
