With our main objective being ACHIEVEMENT, we are proud to offer scholarships to eligible male graduating students in the Hartford region. Applications are due by April 25, 2025.
The Hartford (CT) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is excited to announce the availability of scholarships for graduating male students attending school within the Hartford region. Applicants must be enrolled in a college/university or trade school beginning in Fall 2025. This scholarship is a one-time award for the freshman year.
Eligibility Requirements:
Male graduating students from schools within the Hartford region.
Enrollment in a college, university, or trade school for Fall 2025.
The scholarship is a one-time award for the freshman year.
Application Process: To ensure a successful submission:
It is highly recommended that 1-2 adults review your application before submission.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
The scholarships are highly competitive and will be awarded based on a detailed scoring metric.
If selected as a finalist, you will be notified by a committee member who will provide further instructions for accepting the award. The Awards Program will be held in June at the Annual Boys II Men Brunch — Celebrating Greater Hartford’s Young Men. Attendance is required. Additionally, evidence of enrollment for Fall 2025 (college/university or trade school) must be submitted prior to attending the event, along with any additional information requested.

In addition to filling out the application, you must fill out the Educator Recommendation form. This form should be completed by the student’s guidance counselor, a high school course teacher or academic instructor. Please note all fields must completed and the form should be submitted along with the student’s application.
